Summer Lunch Program

Over the last five years, Giving Hearts has partnered with Carrollton City Schools to ensure a child does not go hungry over the summer.  Through the Program Volunteers are secured to dispense lunches to designated locations.  The number of Breakfasts and lunches distributed last summer were enormous with an estimated 27,000 being disbursed.  (yes, you read that right- 27,000!)

We also support Carrollton City Schools Special Services group with emergency food boxes for families, as well as food for students during holiday breaks.

Giving Hearts supports providing children with a pack which ensures students receive two breakfast items, snacks, and two entrees. The partnership with the Schools Special Service team also allows Giving Hearts to supply Food Directly to children who are homeless or in the Foster Care System.  Your dollars will help to support the increased demand for these services.
